PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment storage box structure applicable to a pocket box and various kinds of console boxes for a door trim, a rear side trim, a luggage side trim, etc. capable of reducing the cost and enhancing the appearance by fitting a laid-in pad provided on the bottom face of the box without using any adhesive. SOLUTION: An laid-in pad 40 is fitted to a bottom face 33 of a pocket box 30. An insertion piece 42 extending outwardly is formed on an opposing side edge part 41 of the laid-in pad 40, the insertion piece 42 is inserted in an insertion hole 35 formed in a side wall of the pocket box 30, the insertion piece 42 is held by upper and lower edge parts of the insertion hole 35, or the opposing side edge part 41 of the laid-in pad 40 is held by a pressing rib 39 provided on a side wall slightly above the bottom face of the box.
