A communication system realizing improved reliability of communications of control data while restricting reduction in throughput of communications of a data block and/or communication data. The wireless communication system has a base station (1) and a mobile station (2). The mobile station (2) is constructed such that it can transmit data blocks at predetermined transmission intervals to the base station (1). Either the base station (1) or the mobile station (2) is constructed such that it can produce plural control data used to transmit and control the data blocks, produce control messages from the plural control data, and transmit the control messages to the other of the base station (1) and mobile station (2) at the same time intervals as the transmission time intervals. The plural control data each are used to produce M number of control messages among the control messages, and the control messages each are produced from M number of control data among the plural control data.
