<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector housing for which proper engagement of the connector can be ascertained, and which is simple in structure and of low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The connector housing is composed of a male connector housing 10 and a female connector housing 12 which is to be engaged with the housing 10. A projection 18 formed at one part of an edge a of the male connector housing 10 on the side the female connector housing is inserted, and the height h of this projection from the edge a is established so that the tip of this projection 18 and the rear end of the female connector housing 12 align in the same position, when the female connector housing 12 is inserted into the male connector housing 10 at the regular position.
