摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth measuring device capable of acquiring correct azimuth information, even if a magnetic field environment inside a portable information terminal is changed because of an inherent magnetic characteristic in a magnetic body component by mounting/dismounting the magnetic body component. SOLUTION: Mutually-orthogonal biaxial or triaxial magnetic components are detected by a magnetometric sensor, and azimuth information is operated based on information on the magnetic components. This device is equipped with an inherent information reading/writing part 13 for acquiring inherent information for specifying the magnetic body component 12 from the magnetic body component 12 when the magnetic body component 12 is mounted on a mounting part of the portable information terminal, a magnetic correction information identifying/reading/writing part 15 for acquiring magnetic correction information corresponding to the inherent information acquired by the inherent information reading/writing part 13, and an operation part 14 having an azimuth information correction part 14 for correcting azimuth information based on the magnetic correction information acquired by the magnetic correction information identifying/reading/writing part 15.
