PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an oil scattering prevention panel capable of being accommodated in a cooking table, not impairing good appearance as an open kitchen, being easily cleaned and having superior usability. SOLUTION: This oil scattering prevention panel 10 erected at the circumference of a cooking stove 13 of the cooking table 14 for preventing the scattering of oil, is composed of a frame 11 and an aluminum sheet 12 detachably mounted on the frame 11 and forming a scattering prevention face of the scattering prevention panel 10. The oil scattering prevention panel 10 comprises an electrically operated elevating mechanism 28, and can be advanced and retracted through a slit 14b formed on a work top 14a of the cooking table 14. The frame 11 of the oil scattering prevention panel 10 is composed of an approximately rectangular plate member, and upper and lower sides of the plate member are bent to a cooking stove side to hold the aluminum sheet 12.
