PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide antibacterial deodorant having antibacterial performance and a high deodorizing performance. SOLUTION: This antibacterial deodorant is inorganic oxide particles composed of a metal component and an inorganic oxide other than the metal component, the inorganic oxide contains titanium oxide, silica and/or zirconia and the titanium oxide is crystalline titanium oxide. The content of the metal component in the inorganic oxide particles is, in terms of oxide, within a range of 0.1-30 wt.% and the mean particle size of the inorganic oxide particle is within the range of 2-500 nm.
