PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which can be provided with a habitable room with a large space in accordance with a bearing wall by enhancing structural strength. SOLUTION: A beam member 23 is provided in parallel with the bearing walls 12 and 22 constituting a skeleton in such a manner as to be separated from the bearing walls 12 and 22 at a predetermined interval, two structural members 21, 31, 14 and 24 for connecting the beam member 23 and the retaining walls 12 and 22 together are provided in a vertically separated state, so as to form a cylindrical structure. Since horizontal force can be borne on the cylindrical structure, it can enhance the structural strength of the building, and can provide the building with the habitable room 27 with the large space.
