An insect pest control agent capable of effective control of insect pests living outdoors through sustaining of an effect of behavior disruptive agent, which insect pest control agent enhances the efficiency of contact of an insecticide with insect pests, such as isopods, living outdoors to thereby attain highly effective extermination thereof; an insecticidal powdery formulation that even at a low concentration of insecticidal component, can exert excellent quick-acting capability; and a behavior disruptive agent that can induce disruption of behavior, such as behavior of scrambling out, for forcing isopods out of a space under stone, etc. There is provided an insect pest control agent characterized by mixing of a powder containing an insecticidal component with a particulate containing an insect pest behavior disruptive agent. There is further provided an insecticidal powdery formulation characterized in that an insecticidal component in the state of being dissolved in a solvent of extremely low volatility is present on a powder surface. There is still further provided an isopod behavior disruptive agent characterized in that an ethereal oil from plant and/or flagrance component thereof is contained as an active ingredient.
