A power transmission chain used for a power transmission device has link plates with through-holes and has pin members inserted through the through-holes and connecting the link plates to each other. The skew amount in the chain width direction per 200 mm of the length of the power transmission chain is set to 1 - 2 mm. Abnormal wear and reduction in transmission efficiency can be effectively restricted even if misalignment occurs in the power transmission chain.
