<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering system for a vehicle capable of controlling temperature of power steering fluid, controlling its viscosity at an value equivalent to that in normal driving, and improving steering feeling. <P>SOLUTION: This power steering system for the vehicle to drive a hydraulic pump at variable speed by an electric motor to which a working electric current is supplied from a battery under control of a control device and to supply the power steering fluid at a variable flow rate suitable for a power steering working demand is provided with a heating means to heat the power steering fluid in correspondence with required steering assist force in a channel of the power steering fluid. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
