<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital copying machine which reads a document only once but gradually changes the variable magnification rate for an image read so as to finely adjust the size of the output image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing section 33 comprises a shading correcting part 51, a filter processing part 52, a first variable magnification processing part 53a, a second variable magnification processing part 53b, a memory I/F 54, a γ-transforming part 55, and an image quality processing part 56. Before and after the memory I/F 54, the first variable magnification processing part 53a and the second variable magnification processing part 53b are provided. Image data are subjected to variable magnification processing in the first variable magnification processing part 53a and are then stored in a memory section 35, and image data outputted from the memory section 35 are subjected to variable magnification reprocessing in the second variable magnification processing part 53b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
