<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver for a flat panel display wherein a wide range of reference current is applicable, and a current offset caused by manufacturing process errors can be reduced, and a sufficient voltage can be supplied to an output stage even in a high current output mode. <P>SOLUTION: The driver for a flat panel display is provided with a reference current source (12), a driving block choosing part (14) for selecting a reference current driving block activated according to the magnitudes of input reference currents, a plurality of the reference current driving blocks (30) which are embodied with low-voltage MOS transistors and include a 1st current mirror means for mirroring the reference current inputted via the driving block choosing part (14), and a plurality of channels (50) which are constituted of high-voltage MOS transistors and include a 2nd current mirror means for mirroring and outputting the mirroring current inputted from the chosen reference current driving block. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
