摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of easily confirming a focusing state of a principal object by adopting a new operating sequence. SOLUTION: The digital camera includes: a display means for displaying image data; an extraction means for extracting a characteristic part of an object from the image data; and a control means that segments an image within a prescribed range including at least part of the object corresponding to the characteristic part extracted by the extraction means from the image data and controls the display means to display the segmented image on its prescribed position, and the surrounding of the extracted object is displayed on part of a display screen as a small image.
