PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a woody packing resin panel with excellent dimensional accuracy guaranteed which can make a surface smooth enough in spite of quenching when a woody packing resin gel obtained by melting a thermoplastic resin by frictional heat generated by the high speed agitation of the thermoplastic resin and a woody filler is arranged in the cooling mold of a press and compressed, spread, and cooled to produce a square panel having lattice-like ribs on the backside of a roof part. SOLUTION: The woody packing resin gel B is arranged in the mold C1 to make the amount of the gel per unit area on the peripheral part side larger than that on the central part side of the square panel molding surface of the mold. A flux is enlarged as the gel flows from the peripheral part side to the central part side of the panel, and a gel pressure is increased toward the central part so that gel cutting can well be prevented. On the panel peripheral side, since the excess gel escapes to the panel central part side, in spite of the existence of lattice-like channels in the mold surface, the woody packing resin gel can be spread in an enough uniform thickness on the entire molding surface of the mold.
