PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tilt adjusting circuit of an optical disk recording and reproducing apparatus capable of recording a signal on a disk by an optical pickup. SOLUTION: The tilt adjusting circuit is constituted of a focus servo circuit 10 performing focus servo operation based on a focus error signal generated from a signal obtained from a photodetector 5 assembled in the optical pickup 3, a bandpass filter circuit 14 into which a focus control signal outputted from the focus servo circuit 10 is inputted and which extracts a signal corresponding to the rotation period of the disk, a tilt signal adjusting circuit 18 adjusting the level of the signal extracted by the bandpass filter circuit 14 and an offset adjusting circuit 20 outputting an offset signal for correcting deviation of an angle between a disk surface and an object lens when the optical pickup is assembled in the optical disk recording and reproducing apparatus.
