PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock releasing means capable of setting a spring constant independent on the material of a cartridge holder to a desired value. SOLUTION: The disk recording and/or reproducing device 101 is provided with a chassis 103 for rotatably supporting a cartridge holder 102 for inserting and holding a disk cartridge, an eject lever 105 disposed in the chassis to rotate in a disk cartridge inserting/pulling-out direction and to move in a contact/separate direction from the chassis, and pressed by the disk cartridge inserted into the cartridge holder to rotate, an eject lever locking means 107 for locking the eject lever against the pressing force of a pressing means, and a lock releasing means 108 for releasing the locking of the eject lever by the eject lever locking means.
