PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem; since there is a limit to the operation of a high temperature polysilicon TFT in a three-board system projection type liquid crystal display device using high temperature polysilicon, not only the whole system is increased in costs, but a liquid crystal panel is also increased in costs, since demand for higher brightness in recent years increases, and on the other hand, when a block sequential driving system is adopted, TFTs are produced separately for a pixel array part and a peripheral circuitry part. SOLUTION: In the three-board system projection type liquid crystal display device 10 using high temperature polysilicon, a circuitry part for performing impedance conversion (buffering) of an analog video signal after D-A conversion is configured of two stages comprising LCD drivers 13R, 13G, 13B operating at a high speed of 1MHz or higher, and analog drivers 14R, 14G, 14B operating at a low speed of 1MHz or lower.
