摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet apparatus which can carry out optimum printing even when ink undergoes a quality change. SOLUTION: An amplifier 38 for driving connected to a piezoelectric element 24 of a nozzle head 20 and a measurement amplifier 42 for self-excited oscillation are selected by a switching means 40. When the measurement amplifier 42 is selected and a resonance frequency by self excitation of a vibration system which consists of the piezoelectric element, an ink chamber and the ink is changed by the quality change of the ink, the oscillation waveform is analyzed to acquire correction data. Driving data of a reference driving waveform stored in a ROM 36 is corrected by the correction data. Optimum driving data at a time point when the self-excited oscillation is performed is thus obtained. If the piezoelectric element is driven by the corrected driving data, printing by optimum discharging of the ink can be carried out without the trouble such as defective discharging being brought about.
