PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for salt water capable of sterilizing salt water containing copper, at the same time, depositing dissolved copper and removing the same by using one equipment. SOLUTION: Salt water which is adjusted to pH 4 to 7 and contains copper is irradiated with ultraviolet rays and is sterilized.
