PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent endoscope apparatus capable of observing the object of fluorescent spectrometry through an optical system for the fluorescent spectrometry. SOLUTION: A laser beam emitted from a laser unit 40 is transmitted through a first beam splitter 22 and guided by a CFB 16 and then a part to be examined is irradiated with it through a first image forming lens 11. Fluorescence generated from the viable tissue of the part to be examined by the laser beam forms the image of the part to be examined on the distal end surface of the CFB 16 by the first image forming lens 11. The image is transmitted to the proximal end surface by the CFB 16. The fluorescence generated from the image which appears on the proximal end surface of the CFB 16 is reflected by the first beam splitter 22, is separated by the second beam splitter 25 and forms the image again respectively on the image pickup surface of an image pickup element 35 and a light receiving surface of a spectroscope 30. A fluorescent image picked up by the image pickup element 35 and a spectrum for which spectrometry is performed by the spectroscope 30 are respectively displayed on a monitor 60.
