<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device which attains a mono-color display without using a color film and can more reduce cost and assembling man-hours than the case using a color film. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device 58 is equipped with: a polarizer 14 disposed in the front side of a liquid crystal cell 18; a reflective polarizer 40 disposed in the back side of the liquid crystal cell 18; and a color scattering layer 60 disposed between the liquid crystal cell 18 and the reflective polarizer 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
