<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for inspecting a liquid crystal panel with which accurate inspection is carried out by making the liquid crystal panel be irradiated with uniform and intense light from a position close thereto. <P>SOLUTION: In the device 100 for inspecting the liquid crystal panel which is equipped with an illuminator 2 to make light irradiation from the lower side of the liquid crystal panel 4 and a line sensor 3 to receive light transmitted through the liquid crystal panel 4 out of irradiation light from the illuminator 2, and with which failure/no-failure inspection of the liquid crystal panel 4 is carried out based on an image received by the line sensor 3, the illuminator 2 is constructed by arranging a light source 20 composed of a halogen lamp and so on, a plurality of optical fibers 21 to transmit irradiation light from the light source 20, and a supporting body 22 to support output terminals of the optical fibers 21 in an array shape, and the supporting body 22 is arranged on the position close to the lower side of the liquid crystal panel 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
