POROUS CONDUCTIVE POLYMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous conductive polymer wherein hole arrangement is macroscopically controlled to yield satisfactory physical properties. SOLUTION: The porous conductive polymer is obtained by using a preparation method comprising a step wherein a particulate matter-polymer composite is obtained by subjecting a polymerizable monomer or a composition containing the same to vapor-phase polymerization in the presence of a particulate matter which is insoluble to the monomer or the composition and has a polymerization catalyst supported or deposited on its surface and a step wherein the particulate matter is dissolved and removed by dipping the composite in a solvent in which the particulate matter can be dissolved. In the obtained porous conductive polymer, holes have three-dimensional regularity and are arranged so that they macroscopically compose a crystal structure. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
