PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an A/D conversion unit capable of improving the reliability of digital data converted from analog data. SOLUTION: An A/D converter unit 1 includes an A/D converter (ADC) 10 for converting input analog data into digital data and outputting, and a control unit 20 for controlling the A/D converter 10, by instructing to convert the analog data to the digital data. A reference analog data, represented by a power supply voltage V1 and a ground voltage Vss, are input to the A/D converter 10. The control unit 20 controls the A/D converter 10 so as to convert the reference analog data into digital data, and decides whether the A/D converter 10 is in normal operation, based on the collation result of the digital data and a reference digital data, preset corresponding to the reference analog data.
