PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device in which a rush current is prevented and a long life by relaxing stress to the heating device and capacity reduction of a power conversion element to be used are realized. SOLUTION: The heating device is provided with a radiation heating means 2 for irradiating at least a light of infrared region, a radiation energy changing means 3 for changing the amount of radiation energy emitted from the radiation heating means 2, and an output control means 5 which controls the operation of the radiation energy changing means 3 so that the current value supplied to the radiation heating means 2 may be a prescribed value or less. The rush current at the time of power supply start is prevented, and a long life of the heating device and capacity reduction of the power conversion element can be realized.
