PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize miniaturization, and to precisely and firmly join upper and lower halves. SOLUTION: A pair of upper and lower halves 3, 4, which composes a cartridge body 5 for accommodating an optical disk 2, is provided. Outer periphery wall formation walls 16, 17 are formed at the outer periphery of the upper and lower halves 3, 4. Accommodation section formation walls 24, 25, which are abutted each other for composing a disk accommodation section 6, are formed on internal surfaces facing each other. In the lower half 4, an opening 12 for driving that a rotation drive means faces and an opening 13 for recording and/or reproduction are formed. In the cartridge body 5, the outer periphery formation walls 16, 17 formed at the outer periphery of the upper and lower halves 3, 4 are abutted and welded, and a portion, which is in the inside and biased to the side of the accommodation section formation walls 24, 25 from the outer periphery side of the upper and lower halves and is close to one side of the opening 13 for recording/reproduction, is welded for integration.
