摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a stable reproduction in the case of reproducing an optical disk, in which data is recorded at a constant linear velocity, at a constant angular velocity. SOLUTION: A disk drive 20 is provided with: rotating mechanisms 31 to 33 for rotary-driving an optical disk 2 at a constant angular velocity, reading parts 34 and 35 for reading signals from an optical disk 3 to generate reproduced signals; a waveform equalizing circuit 36 for subjecting the read reproduced signals to waveform equalization; and circuits 37 and 38 for binarizing the waveform-equalized reproduced signals to generate clocks. The waveform equalizing circuit 36 changes the center frequency of a filter in accordance with the frequency of the generated clock. Further, at the time of starting signal reading, the waveform equalizing circuit 36 sets the center frequency of the filter based on the frequency of the channel clock of the reproduced signal in a disk center position.
