<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus in which a recording medium is easily confirmed and taken out, and which is installed in small space and is adaptable to the using state and using form of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A toner image forming part and an image reading part are respectively housed in individual housings. A 1st caster 8 is attached to the 1st housing in which the toner image forming part is housed, and a recording medium ejection port 4 and an ejected paper receiving part 6 in which the ejected recording medium is accumulated are provided at the upper part of the 1st housing 1. The 2nd housing 2 in which the image reading part is housed is placed on a rack 3 to which a 2nd caster 11 is attached. Then, the 1st housing is housed under the 2nd housing 2, and the rack is supported on a floor surface independently of the 1st housing.
