PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the thin part of a brim NST being a lacrimal passage stent for the treatment of lacrimal passage occlusion or dry eyes is provided with the same thickness and hardness in overall length without having flexibility, and then, is not sufficiently bent in accordance with a bent part between a lacrimal canaliculus vertical part and a horizontal part, so as to allow a collar (23) to be diagonally arranged relative to a lacrimal punctum and to cause unstability, a foreign-body sensation, or the generation of a granulation, etc.
SOLUTION: The thin rod (or tube) (40) of the brim NST is partially made to be soft as a thin tube. Accordingly, the thin rod (or tube) (40) is sufficiently bent in accordance with the bent part between the lacrimal canaliculus vertical part and the horizontal part, so that the collar (23) is not diagonally arranged relative to the lacrimal punctum.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
