PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to display overlapping approach directions in a method displaying an approach to an observation point such as a tumor. SOLUTION: In this three dimensional image processing method using three dimensional data comprising a three dimensional array of voxel data for generating an image 2 which is a two dimensional projection of an object 65 to be displayed in the three dimensional data, at least the observation point 32 is specified on the three dimensional image, depth coordinate values of the observation point 32 on the specified three dimensional image are calculated, and the three dimensional coordinate values of the observation point are stored. The approach 71 to the observation point 32 which is a line passing the observation point 32 in a present direction of a visual line, and whenever parameters of projection image generation calculation are inputted and changed the three dimensional image by the parameters, the observation point and the approach to the observation point are synthesized and displayed.
