PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow utilizing services, which is provided by a plurality of service means, from the outside of a firewall efficiently at lower cost while maintaining using environment inside the firewall. SOLUTION: A server 101 has a plurality of service providing parts 123, each receiving an SOAP request included in an HTTP request and sending an SOAP response, which is a response to the SOAP request, included in an HTTP response. A function of an intermediate function unit 110 is added to the server 101 for an intermediate communication between an external device 201 and the plurality of service providing parts 123 to thereby allow collectively sending and receiving a plurality of SOAP requests and SOAP responses associated with operations of the plurality of service providing parts 123 between the external device 201 and the server 101.
