PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feed driving device capable of improving positional accuracy of a moving body to be subjected to feed driving by a ball screw, and a machine tool provided with the feed driving device. SOLUTION: A Y-direction feed driving device 50 to a turret head is composed such that a screw nut 55 is moved along a screw shaft 54 and linear feed driving in the Y-direction of a Y-direction slide 8 is executed in the NC machine tool 1. The Y-direction feed driving device 50 has a clamp mechanism 60 for clamping the Y-direction slide 8 to a prescribed position in the Y-direction.
