PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide flux cored wire for gas-shielded arc welding with which the sagging of metal is less liable to be generated on upward welding, satisfactory welding operability can be obtained even in the other welding attitude, and further, the low temperature impact toughness of weld metal can be secured. SOLUTION: By mass% to the total mass of an outer skin made of steel and flux, the flux comprises: Ti oxide of 5.0 to 7.5% expressed in terms of TiO<SB>2</SB>, Si oxide of 0.5 to 1.5% expressed in terms of SiO<SB>2</SB>; Fe oxide of 0.1 to 0.5% expressed in terms of FeO; Zr oxide of≤0.2% expressed in terms of ZrO<SB>2</SB>; Al oxide of≤0.2% expressed in terms of Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>; Na and K of 0.15 to 0.50% in the total expressed in terms of Na<SB>2</SB>O and expressed in terms of K<SB>2</SB>O also in≥0.05% expressed in terms of Na<SB>2</SB>O and in≥0.10% expressed in terms of K<SB>2</SB>O; fluoride of 0.01 to 0.15% expressed in terms of F; Mg of 0.1 to 0.5%; and further, in the total of the flux and outer skin components, 0.04 to 0.12% C, 0.4 to 1.0% Si, 1.5 to 3.5% Mn and≤0.5% Al are contained.
