PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the working accuracy and durability of a motor-driven press apparatus by dispersing load which is applied to screw engagement of a screw shaft which is engaged with a ball screw. SOLUTION: In the motor-driven press apparatus which comprises a frame body 104, a slider 105 on which an upper die 107 is mounted, ball screw mechanisms 119 which are provided with a screw shaft which is pivotally supported freely rotatably with a crown 102 and a ball-screw nut which is screwed on the ball screw part and with which the slider 105 is vertically moved by the rotation of the screw shaft, AC servomotors 109, a lower die 125, position detectors 126, 127 and a controller, four respective screw shafts are respectively constituted of two screw shafts 118a, 118b which form a group and the ball screw mechanisms 119 are respectively provided with two ball screw nuts 123a, 123b, for example, and the ball screw mechanisms 119 are constituted of four of the original number.
