PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate respective layers at the interface of them even with respect to any solvent composition liquid and a very small amount of a sample regardless of a temperature without destructing a dissolved component. SOLUTION: The interface of the solvent composition liquid, which forms a liquid/liquid interface, is sensed by separating the solvent composition liquid into a plurality of layers on the basis of specific gravity difference by detecting the difference in refractive index between a plurality of the layers.
