The tub has a tilting door (8) that moves around a horizontal axis using a hinge operated by a mechanism with a pneumatic spring. An opening at the side of tub has a continuously curved edge including a recess in which a sealing unit is arranged. Edge of the door is constructed relative to the edge of opening so that the sealing unit lies on the door edge in a pre-stressed condition due to the door dead weight when the door is closed.
