<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape tension controller in which scratching of a tape can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A vacuum chamber 20 has a space of a fixed cross-sectional area having an opening part 20s at an upper part. Also, the vacuum chamber 20 is provided with a position detecting means 26 and a sucking means 34, the position of a magnetic tape T is monitored on the basis of detection output from the position detecting means 26 in a state in which suction force of the sucking means 34 is made constant. When the position of the magnetic tape T is varied, feeding speed and winding speed of a motor M1 or M2 is adjusted, and control is made so that the position of the magnetic tape is not varied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
