PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall panel which prevent a sharp decrease in load bearing capacity in the action of a horizontal force by permitting the deformation of a surface material and a frame material through the use of a simple constitution. SOLUTION: In this bearing wall panel for a building, wherein the surface material made of a steel plate etc. is joined to the side surface of the rectangularly assembled frame material, a split surface material 15, which is fixed to a rectangular frame body 4, is split in the height direction so that the respective split surface materials 15 can be arranged in the state of forming a gap (a square mark place in Fig.), and fixed to the frame body 4; and an edge 22 on a side facing the split surface material 15 is joined to width-direction mounting frames 10 different from each other, which are fixed to vertical frame materials 11 and 11a.
