摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a twist yarn of ultrafine fibers having a fineness of <25 dtex with a double twister. SOLUTION: A stock yarn 11 of an ultrafine fiber is supplied from a yarn-feeding pirn 1 at a constant reeling rate with a traversing device and twisted at a twist number of 50-3,000 t/m. The process is carried out by selecting a ball tenser 23 placed in a twister 2 and/or a ring tenser 24 placed at a yarn-feeding part in a manner to form a balloon form by the discharged twist yarn at a delay angle of 3-60°in a yarn traveling and rotating mode of a rotary disk 22 to discharge the twist yarn, and determining the attaching position of the tenser, increasing or decreasing the weight and number of the tenser or adjusting the traveling speed of the yarn, a reeling tension and a balloon tension to stably twist the ultrafine fibers without forming a knot in a winding quantity of 100-1,000 g.
