The lamp has a light source whose light is injected in an optical fiber in a longitudinal direction (L). The optical fiber comprises of optical fiber-sections (5a, 5b, 5a`, 5b`) adjacently arranged in the longitudinal direction. Light from the source between two longitudinal adjacent optical fiber sections is injected in different directions in the sections. The sections exhibit opposed coupling surfaces for injecting light.
