<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device capable of improving quality of an image even when luminous efficiencies of light emitting sections of RGB of are different from each other. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device A comprises light emitting sections 421R, 421 G, 421B of red, green and blue each having a plurality of elements, and a driving control means A2 that sets a predetermined assignment time period by each of the light emitting sections 421R, 421 G, 421B and drives the emission of light by switching the light emitting sections 421R, 421 G, 421B corresponding to the assignment time period.
