<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve more accurate and stable measurement of blood pressure, by facilitating the action to put on the cuff which helps a user to wear it correctly. <P>SOLUTION: A sphygmomanometer cuff 100A, designed to be worn around an upper arm, is provided with an air bag 120 for pressing the upper arm, a curler 110 which is wrapped around the air bag 120 and made elastic in the radius direction, and a bag-like fastening band 130 including the air bag 120 and the curler 110. The curler 110 is provided with an overlap area C where one end 111 in the circumference direction lies under the other end 112 when not worn. The cuff 100A is provided with a marker 141 on its surface as an indication for the right grip position in putting on the cuff, which corresponds an area D just opposite to the overlap area C of the curler 110 or an area a little nearer than the area D to the one end 111 of the curler 110, when not worn. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
