<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop computer which realizes efficient cooling, imposes no useless stress on its heat pipe and mother board, prevents its parts from breakage due to stress and is easy to manage its dimension when it is manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 100 is provided with an air intake 13 which penetrates a housing 10 from a side face. A plurality of air-sucking pores for introducing external air are provided at the side surface and top surface of the air intake 13. A CPU 21 is arranged away from a heat sink 22 via a chassis 31, and they are thermally connected to each other via a heat pipe 23. A cooling unit which diffuses the heat generated by a mother board 20 on which the CPU 21 is arranged and the CPU 21 are preliminarily mounted on the back panel 15 of the computer 100 and removably incorporated from the rear of the housing 10 as an assembly unit 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
