PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system with which information for improving sound environment is presented according to the viewing and listening environment and the liking of users. SOLUTION: The information processing system includes; a client device 30 which has a first input means (input unit 30i) which receives the input of information for prescribing a sound apparatus, a second input means (input unit 30i) which receives the input of information for calculating the sound characteristics of a room where the sound apparatus is installed and a transmitting means (I/F 30f) which transmits inputted information to a server device; and the server device 10 which has a receiving means (I/F 10f) which receives information, a storage means (HDD 10d) which stores advice information about sound environment, a prescription means (CPU 10a) which prescribes advice information stored in the storage means and a presentation means (CPU 10a) which presents advice information about the sound characteristics prescribed by the prescription means.
