PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive which, when used for an adhesive layer in an adhesive label, enables the adhesive label to attach to a lipophilic surface or a hydrophilic surface. SOLUTION: The adhesive used for the adhesive layer in the adhesive label contains 25-90 pts.wt. elastomer, 5-70 pts.wt. lipophilic softener and 5-70 pts.wt. hydrophilic softener. Here, a partially saponified PVA etc. is used as the elastomer, a protein such as collagen, gelatin and peptide is used as the lipophilic softener, and polyethylene glycol etc. is used as the hydrophilic softener.
