PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fading signal generator in digital modulation where a fading signal with a proper fading characteristic at a high speed sampling frequency with a simple configuration is generated. SOLUTION: A fading parameter generating means 2 generates a fading parameter with a low sampling frequency and calculates an initial value and an increment of the fading parameter. The initial value and the increment are stored respectively in an initial value register 4 and an increment register 5, the initial value and the increment are read from the initial value register 4 and the increment register 5 and a linear interpolation parameter generating means 7 applies linear interpolation to them to generate a fading parameter. The fading parameter and high speed sampling data 9 are multiplied by a multiplier 8 to generate a fading signal 10 with a fading characteristic. |
