PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start sound when a key is given a click feeling at the time of key depression. SOLUTION: A support body 21 is provided at the rear end part 1b of a keyboard chassis 1 behind a hammer arm 5 which places an action load on a key 2 and this support body 21 is provided with a leaf spring 22 and a sound generation control switch 23. Therefore, the key 2 is given a click feeling when an abutting part 25 of the hammer arm 5 moves beyond the leaf spring 22 by flexing it in the going stroke of the key 2 at the time of key depression and at this time, the sound generation control switch 23 is turned on by the flexing deformation of the leaf spring 22 to start generating a sound, so the start of sound can be timed nearly to the imparting of the click feeling to the key 2, so that the musical sound can be generated nearly while the click feeling is given to the key 2. |
