<p>PURPOSE: To provide an air bag device for a driver's seat, which facilitates assembling works. CONSTITUTION: Each leg piece 18 of a module cover 16 and the circumferential section of the gas introduction port 22 of an air bag 20, are held in between an outer retainer 12 and inner retainer 14, and furthermore, the flange 30 of an inflator 24 is piled up therein so as to be fixed by bolts 32. The projected section 44 of each leg piece 18a is engaged with the recessed section of each upstand wall 38. By this constitution, the module cover can be fixed to the retainer with no rivet used. An wide area around the gas introduction port of the air bag can be held by the retainer.</p> |
