A safety harness

A safety harness (10) comprising an inner support loop (7) contactable with the chest area of a wearer when worn. The inner support loop (7) is continuous and has at least one resilient section (27). An outer load bearing strap (9) is fixed to the inner support loop (7). The outer strap (9) has at least one fastener (29, 33) fixed to it. A section of the outer strap (9) and the fastener (29, 33) are engageable with each other such that a second continuous loop is formed. When the outer strap (9) and fastener (29, 33) are engaged the size of the inner (7) and outer (9) loops are adjustable to fit the wearer.
