In the present invention, there is disclosed a wind engine being provided on each arm (3) projecting radially from a shaft (2) perpendicular to wind direction with a pair of swinging blades (5) that have in cross section aerodynamic profile of a wing with concave bottom surface. In order to increase the buoyant effect, the blades (5) can be provided in the region of their edges with swinging wing flaps (6).
